In this class we will understand professionalism, the engineering code and ethical practice of engineers with special reference to Quebec and Canada. This course is particularly important because it will directly address CEAB’s graduate attributes on professionalism and ethics by seeking to develop among students an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the professional engineer in society, especially the primary role of protection of the public and the public interest. In addition this course will also develop an ability to apply professional ethics, accountability and equity.
