Being able to effectively communicate is a vital skill. All environments—educational, occupational, and personal—can be improved through the clear articulation of ideas and information. This course teaches the basics of educational communication with an emphasis on a range of learning contexts. As the term progresses, you will think about why and how communication matters, by thinking through the importance of knowing your audience and your purpose for communicating with them and learning (and practicing!) how to prepare information in appropriate formats.
