Parents of a child with a developmental disability use Support Workers in order to help integrate their child into a wide range of recreational and social community activities, including sports programs and summer camps, as well as in school and pre-school settings. The Support Worker Training Program is a unique and comprehensive program that provides participants with the many critical skills needed in order to find employment in this developing field.
